چکیده
The main aim of this review is to systematize and present evidence from recent scientific studies regarding the role early mathematical competencies in later mathematics achievement, as well analyze characteristics educational family environments that facilitate development these children. Presented longitudinal provide clear math significantly predict outcomes. Reviewed also suggest how adults children interact terms activities related children’s development. In both formal education environment, who use everyday situations for reasoning, communicating, thinking seem be most important factor fostering competencies. These findings are discussed context BiH where do not attend education.

Key features of 'environmental fit' that promote good animal welfare in different husbandry systems.
In animal production there are two core dimensions to environmental fit, one that centres on the capacity of the environment to meet an animal's needs and the other concerns the capacity of the animal to match or 'fit' the environment. Efforts to increase capacity in both of these dimensions can contribute substantially to the continuous improvement of animal welfare within different livestock ...
متن کاملFrom Context to Competencies
For classes in informatics it gets more and more important to develop a sustainable curriculum because computer technology and its related items are subject to frequent changes. This leads to the problem that the content of informatics courses suffers from fast decay time. And to make things worse: What we are teaching our pupils and students is far from sustainable knowledge. The scientific co...
متن کاملIdentifying key features of early stressful experiences that produce stress vulnerability and resilience in primates.
This article examines the complex role of early stressful experiences in producing both vulnerability and resilience to later stress-related psychopathology in a variety of primate models of human development. Two types of models are reviewed: Parental Separation Models (e.g., isolate-rearing, peer-rearing, parental separations, and stress inoculation) and Maternal Behavior Models (e.g., foragi...
متن کاملDefining and Measuring Quality in Early Childhood Practices that Promote Dual Langauge Learners' Development and Learning
The number of young dual language learners (DLLs) 1 enrolling in early childhood programs has increased steadily over the last 15 years, a trend that is expected to continue. A factor contributing to this trend is the rapid growth of the immigrant population. As of 2005, one in four, or 25%, of young children in the United States were children of immigrant families (Hernandez, Denton, & Macartn...
متن کاملKey features and context-dependence of fishery-induced trophic cascades.
Trophic cascades triggered by fishing have profound implications for marine ecosystems and the socioeconomic systems that depend on them. With the number of reported cases quickly growing, key features and commonalities have emerged. Fishery-induced trophic cascades often display differential response times and nonlinear trajectories among trophic levels and can be accompanied by shifts in alte...
